MERIC short-term occupation
projections from 2004-2006 show strong employment growth in Food and
Preparatory Workers, Waiters and Waitresses, Registered Nurses,
Retail Salespersons, Carpenters, and Customer Service
Representatives. From 2004 to 2006, some of the fastest growing
occupations are projected to be Fitness Trainers and Instructors,
Self-Enrichment Teachers, Network Systems and Data Analysts, and
Computer Software Engineers.
